Resist Master Preparation Unit
| The DGT Resist Master Preparation Unit (RMP) operates into a class100 clean room environment cabinet together with the Hot Plate Unit. It is able to produce coated glass for CD/DVD by using a photosensitive chemical. The RMP unit is able to produce up to 6 glasses per hour. | |||||||||||||
Photoresist is a chemical sensitive to light. When exposed within a specific range of wavelengths (in our case 457.9nm), the chemical changes and appears to be burned.

![]() The hot plate operates at 90ºC. The photo-resist layer of the resist master is cured using hot air. This provides a stable surface for the recording process. ![]() ![]() |
